Tina Seymour Demoran Receives 2026 Woman of Achievement Award

Tina Seymour Demoran, owner and managing attorney of Seymour Law Firm, received the 2026 Lighthouse Business & Professional Women's Woman of Achievement Award in the Corporate Category.

Before becoming an attorney, Tina worked as a respiratory therapist and worked nights while earning five degrees. Her career has spanned healthcare, corporate compliance, higher education, and business consulting. After graduating from law school in 2004, she returned to the Mississippi Gulf Coast and built Seymour Law Firm.

Tina takes particular pride in mentoring women in the legal profession and helping young attorneys enter courtrooms with confidence. She also measures the firm's success through service to clients and the community. Over a ten-year span, Seymour Law Firm has provided more than $250,000 in estate plans to first responders. The firm has supported local charities, blood drives, wildlife rescues, and community projects.

Her career has not followed a straight line. Its hard chapters taught her to change direction, start over, work hard, help someone else along the way, and refuse to quit.

Tina credits her husband, Philip, and her family for supporting the long hours, risks, and ideas that came with building her businesses. She treasures being a stepmother and “Mawmaw T” to Stella and Sutton.

She also thanked Melinda, Mindy, Gabby, associate attorney Mary Catherine Langley, and the clients who trust the firm during difficult moments in their lives.

She is grateful to Lighthouse Business & Professional Women for the honor, to the women who opened doors before her, and for the opportunity to hold doors open for the women following her.

Twenty-two years after graduating from law school, Tina is still learning, building, and serving the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Philip may also need to find room for one more award on the shelf.
