Tina Seymour Demoran, JD, RTT

Tina Seymour Demoran, JD, RRT is the founder of Seymour Law Firm, PLLC, bringing a wealth of knowledge and diverse professional experience to her clients. Prior to establishing her own practice, Tina served as the Director of Corporate Compliance with Corporate Management, Incorporated (CMI) and Mississippi Children's Home Services in Jackson, MS. She also worked as a Cardiopulmonary Specialist with CHRISTUS Spohn Health System in Corpus Christi, Texas, a Director at Mississippi College School of Law, and was a member of a criminal defense team at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague, Holland.

Tina holds an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Respiratory Therapy, two Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology and Biblical Studies from Belhaven College, and a Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law. She is currently licensed in Law and is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Mississippi, as well as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Tina is a sought-after speaker and writer, having been featured as a guest lecturer and columnist in Texas and Mississippi. She has spoken on topics such as medical documentation, assault and battery in the medical field, and HIPAA and OSHA regulations at various hospitals, allied health programs, and intensive care conferences. In addition, she has served as a trainer and expert panelist for human trafficking conferences. Tina also writes a weekly column for the Gazebo Gazette titled "The Blue Jean Lawyer" and is a regular guest expert on In Legal Terms for Mississippi Public Broadcasting.

Tina lives in Ocean Springs with her husband, Philip, and their three rescue dogs and cat. When she’s not working at the firm or volunteering at a local event, you can find the Demorans in Tupelo visiting their kids and grandkids or cheering on the Bulldogs at Mississippi State University football games.

Mary Catherine Langley, JD

Mary Catherine Langley is an attorney at Seymour Law Firm, PLLC, where she focuses her practice primarily on family law litigation. She is committed to providing thoughtful guidance and strong advocacy for individuals and families navigating some of life’s most personal and complex legal matters.

Originally from Hurley, Mississippi, Mary Catherine earned her Juris Doctorate and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from Louisiana State University. During her time at LSU Law, she demonstrated both academic and leadership excellence, serving as a board member of the Journal for Social Justice and Policy, where she contributed published work, and as Chairwoman of the Law Center’s Ethics and Disciplinary Committee.

Mary Catherine brings valuable, hands-on legal experience to her practice. She previously served as a law clerk with Pittman Law Firm, APLC, where she conducted legal research, drafted memoranda, and assisted in the preparation of briefs and motions. She also gained experience working alongside attorneys and investigators through her internship with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, where she assisted with case research, evidence-related work, and observed courtroom proceedings. Additionally, she served as a summer law clerk with Burns Cunningham & Mackey, further strengthening her foundation in legal research and case preparation.

At Seymour Law Firm, Mary Catherine works alongside Tina Seymour Demoran, contributing to a growing practice dedicated to serving clients across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Her approach combines preparation, professionalism, and a strong understanding of family law matters, allowing her to effectively advocate for clients both inside and outside the courtroom.

Outside of her practice, Mary Catherine enjoys cooking, playing tennis, and spending time with her three beloved dachshunds.

Melinda Ferguson, Office Manager

With an impressive background spanning client service, legal administration, education, and finance, Melinda brings a wealth of experience, heart, and organizational skill to our team.

Melinda first joined Seymour Law in 2024 as a Legal Assistant and Scheduling Coordinator, where she quickly became an indispensable part of our operations. From preparing and filing court documents to managing hearings and maintaining communication between courts, clients, and staff - Melinda did it all with accuracy and professionalism.

Prior to joining our firm, Melinda’s diverse career path included roles as a Special Education Assistant Teacher, Infant Daycare Teacher, Retail Banker II/Vault Teller, and a Receptionist/Technician in veterinary care. Each of these roles deepened her strengths in communication, multitasking, and client care. Her earlier work with H&R Block sharpened her administrative and financial skills, making her a well-rounded professional with a compassionate approach.

Melinda’s extensive experience, coupled with her calm leadership and dedication to excellence, make her the ideal person to help lead the daily functions of our office. We’re incredibly fortunate to have her at the helm.
